RN – Trauma Intensive Care Unit

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic's new 14‑bed Trauma Intensive Care Unit to provide comprehensive post‑resuscitation critical care for patients with complex traumatic injuries. As a Registered Nurse you will help shape the culture, establish best practices, and build a collaborative team from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions and update plans of care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to protocol.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and current state RN licensure.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience in a hospital setting (military RN experience considered).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (upon hire or within one year).
