RN Circulator – Operating Room Nursing

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our operating room team as a Circulator. This full‑time, weekdays‑only position focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care during surgical procedures while maintaining strict infection‑control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Position and prep patients for surgery according to protocol.
• Circulate within the operating room, managing equipment, supplies, and documentation.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the peri‑operative team to ensure a safe environment.
• Adhere to all infection‑control and safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient needs promptly.

Required profile

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
• Current, unrestricted California RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Circulator in an operating room.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to schedule changes, and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification (preferred).
