About the role

Join Ochsner Health as a Registered Nurse (BSN) in Emergency Medicine at the Jefferson Highway location. You will provide patient‑centered care using the nursing process while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver high‑quality patient care and assess learning needs of patients and families.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring optimal resource use and patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and Ochsner’s policies.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (RN‑BSN) and a current RN license in Louisiana.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; CPI certification; ACLS and PALS to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and judgment skills.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Current RN license, BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
