RN Ambulatory – Rapid Response

About the role

The RN Ambulatory – Rapid Response position supports the Cleveland Clinic West Palm Beach team by delivering professional nursing care across ambulatory settings and assisting the ER Rapid Response physician with acutely ill patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, telephone triage, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Coordinate patient transfers to hospitals, accompany patients, and act as liaison between patient, physician, and receiving facility.
• Administer medications, assist with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, and initiate emergency measures such as CPR.
• Provide health education to patients and families and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and hold current state RN licensure.
• One year of recent RN experience or equivalent clinical experience within Cleveland Clinic ambulatory settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for certain procedures within six months of hire.
