Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology

About the role

The Clinical Pharmacist – Oncology supports infusion pharmacy operations in West Palm Beach, providing specialized pharmaceutical care for oncology patients receiving infusion therapies. The pharmacist reviews and verifies medication orders, oversees preparation and compounding of oncology and infusion medications, and collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members to optimize patient care. The role may also provide coverage at other regional infusion pharmacy locations as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Oversee preparation and compounding of oncology and infusion medications, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the oncology care team to optimize therapy outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards across pharmacy operations.

Required profile

• PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligibility within 90 days of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Completion of a Board of Pharmacy‑approved immunization course or certification within 90 days of hire.
