RN Ambulatory – Plastic Surgery

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory plastic surgery setting. The role involves direct patient interaction, assessment, and support throughout their care journey.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, telephone triage, and develop care plans for ambulatory patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Initiate CPR and emergency measures, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• At least one year of recent nursing experience or equivalent clinical experience.
• Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for moderate sedation or cardiac stress testing.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Medication administration and treatment delivery.
• Telephone triage and patient education.
