Revenue Manager, FP&A, North America
LifeScan
Job description
About the role
LifeScan is rebuilding its Finance organization after emerging from Chapter 11, with a clearer reporting structure and a broader mandate. The North America Revenue Manager, FP&A leads revenue budgeting, forecasting and reporting for the United States, Canada and Mexico, managing a small team based in Pennsylvania. The role works closely with commercial, trade, Market Access and Growth Intelligence & BI teams. Candidates must live in the Greater Philadelphia area and be within commuting distance of Radnor/Wayne for future hybrid work.
Key responsibilities
- Lead revenue budgeting, rolling forecast and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) submissions for North America.
- Review revenue actuals once delivered by Global Accounting & Controllership and direct variance analysis by channel and country versus budget, AOP, rolling forecast and prior year.
- Manage and develop the North America Revenue Analyst, consolidating channel- and country-level analysis into a single regional narrative for the Head of Revenue & SG&A.
- Partner with US channel/commercial finance teams (MCOs, PBMs, FFS Medicaid, Medicare Part D, Kaiser, cash-pay, mail order, e-commerce) and Canada and Mexico country leads on payer mix, category trends and distributor inventory dynamics.
- Work with Growth Intelligence & BI on pricing, consumer and commercial insights, and with Sales Leadership on demand signals and account-level dynamics.
- Use AI-enabled tools to speed forecasting, variance analysis and scenario modeling, flagging anomalies and drafting first-pass commentary, while validating outputs independently.
- Assess the ROI of promotional expenses such as PBM/MCO rebates, retail buydowns, coupons, discounts and vendor fees.
- Partner with Market Access / Trade on payer contracting, formulary and tender positioning and rebate structures.
- Present revenue performance, variance analysis and forecast assumptions to senior and executive leadership, including CFO and Board-level reporting.
Required profile
- 5-7+ years in FP&A or revenue analysis, ideally with US healthcare payer/channel exposure (PBM, MCO, Medicaid FFS, Medicare Part D).
- People management experience required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong understanding of US healthcare reimbursement and payer-channel dynamics.
- Executive presentation skills and experience presenting financial analysis to senior leadership.
- Experience with multi-channel, multi-country financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced environment with occasional off-hours responsiveness.
Required skills
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Experience with ERP and financial planning/reporting systems (e.g. JD Edwards, Hubble or similar).
- Growth mindset toward AI adoption in finance.
