Revenue Cycle Audit Specialist

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Central Business Office is seeking a full‑time Revenue Cycle Audit Specialist to conduct reviews of external audits related to billing and coding. This role supports the Revenue Cycle and compliance program by analyzing audit findings and mitigating cash and regulatory risk.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialized feedback and recommendations to senior staff and serve as the primary UHealth liaison for governmental and commercial payer audits.
• Review and analyze documentation to ensure acceptable billing and documentation practices, and prepare logs and statistical reports of findings.
• Give technical and educational assistance to Revenue Cycle teams while adhering to university policies and safeguarding assets.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in revenue cycle, billing, or audit functions.
• Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships and communicate clearly in oral and written form.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
