Retail Sales Associate

About the role

tarte is looking for enthusiastic part‑time Retail Sales Associates to join its beauty teams in select U.S. markets. You will represent a cruelty‑free, eco‑chic cosmetics brand and help customers discover products that combine performance with clean ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers on the sales floor, providing product knowledge and personalized recommendations.
• Maintain visual standards, execute merchandising plans and follow planograms.
• Drive sales to meet or exceed the SPH target of $200 per hour.
• Utilize a smartphone and relevant apps/social media to support store initiatives.
• Work peak retail hours, including weekends and occasional evenings.

Required profile

• Passion for tarte’s cruelty‑free, vitamin‑rich cosmetics.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in Sephora or Ulta environments.
• Strong relationship‑building and verbal communication abilities.
• Customer‑service mindset with a competitive drive to achieve sales goals.
• Availability during peak retail periods and ownership of a working smartphone.
