Senior Territory Sales Manager

About the role

We are expanding our insurance business in Ohio and are looking for a senior‑level sales leader to drive growth across the independent agency market. As a Senior Territory Sales Manager you will act as a trusted advisor to agency partners, help them increase their own revenues and, in turn, grow Mapfre’s market share in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory growth plan aligned with corporate objectives.
• Analyse business performance data and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Deliver consultative sales recommendations and innovative insurance solutions to agency decision‑makers.
• Build and maintain profitable relationships with independent insurance agencies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to shape market strategy and provide thought leadership.
• Mentor and support Assistant Territory Sales Managers, sharing best practices and fostering their professional development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B insurance sales with a strong track record of achieving revenue targets.
• Excellent relationship‑building and consultative selling skills.
• Strategic thinker capable of developing and executing territory plans.
• Ability to influence internal stakeholders and act as a market thought leader.
• Leadership experience, including coaching or mentoring junior sales staff.
