Retail Recruiter

About the role

POP MART is seeking a Retail Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end hiring for its store and corporate teams in New York City. The role is fully onsite, supporting a fast‑growing retail operation with a focus on delivering a seamless candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process for retail positions, including store associates, supervisors, and corporate roles.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach.
• Conduct interviews, screen candidates, and evaluate cultural fit.
• Partner with hiring managers to craft job descriptions, define hiring criteria, and select candidates.
• Ensure a positive candidate journey from application through onboarding.
• Maintain market knowledge on trends and salary benchmarks.
• Prepare and extend offers in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with HR to integrate new hires and report recruitment metrics to leadership.

Required profile

• Based in New York and able to work onsite five days a week.
• 2‑4 years of experience in regional retail recruiting or high‑volume hiring.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes, tools, and strategies.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills with candidates and hiring managers.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
