About the role

This position supports the pharmacy team by preparing IV admixtures and other compounded medications using aseptic technique. The role provides hands‑on experience in a hospital pharmacy environment while ensuring accurate medication preparation and order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

Prepare IV admixtures and extemporaneous compounds following aseptic procedures.
Stock and fill medication orders in the IV room, central pharmacy, and related areas.
Complete assignments and projects, adapting communication to diverse patient populations.
Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations and pharmacy standards.

Required profile

Enrolled in good standing at an accredited College of Pharmacy or a graduate who has passed the NABP Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination.
Experience working with standard pharmacy and office equipment.
Current Pharmacy Intern Permit from the State Board of Pharmacy.

Required skills

Computer data‑entry skills and dexterity for retrieving patient information.
Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and keyboard use.
