Retail Assistant Manager

About the role

AT&T is looking for an Assistant Retail Store Manager in Valley Stream, New York, to work alongside the store manager and oversee the daily operation of a retail store. The role covers merchandising, product launches, meeting and exceeding sales objectives and ensuring customers receive an excellent experience with AT&T's products and services. Paid training is provided to support leadership development.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the store manager on all aspects of the store's daily operation
• Assist with merchandising and product launches
• Help meet and exceed sales objectives
• Coach a team of retail sales consultants to achieve sales and service goals
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond the store

Required profile

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry
• Prior management experience
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives beyond the store

Required skills

• Well-developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends and AT&T mobility systems
• Strategic perspective and ability to champion change

What we offer

• Annual salary of $57,000 to $85,600, plus $18,000 in commission if all sales goals are met
