Retail Assistant Manager – Cannabis Store

About the role

Join the growing cannabis industry as a Retail Assistant Manager for High Plainz Strains of Peetz. You will act as Manager‑on‑Duty during your shift, oversee the retail team, handle cash and product accountability, and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities, manage staff breaks, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Open the store by preparing cash drawers, close by balancing cash, safe, and ATM, and track cash movements.
• Manage discounts, resolve pricing issues in the POS system, and handle escalated customer service situations.
• Ensure compliance with Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Retail experience with cash handling and shift leadership; prior retail management strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate staff, delegate tasks, and keep the store well‑stocked and organized.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Accurate cash and tip counting.
