Restaurant Kitchen Manager

About the role

Red Robin is hiring a Restaurant Kitchen Manager in Dubuque. The manager ensures smooth day-to-day kitchen operations and acts as a brand ambassador, upholding company standards while serving guests with scratch cooking, artisanal American food and gourmet burgers. The role covers inventory, ordering and key profit-and-loss lines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations and maintain high standards of service and hospitality
• Handle inventory and ordering
• Own key P&L lines and contribute to the restaurant's financial performance
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement

Required profile

• At least 21 years of age
• 2 years of management experience
• Open availability, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and leadership skills, able to motivate and develop a passionate team
• Strong P&L knowledge
• Able to obtain required certifications and permits as required by state and local law

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
• Preferred: knowledge of local and state health codes
• Preferred: experience with Workday, Aloha, NBO and hot schedules
• Preferred: experience managing a team
