Restaurant Assistant General Manager

About the role

Red Robin is hiring a Restaurant Assistant General Manager in Schererville. The role partners with the Restaurant Managing Partner on day-to-day operations, acts as a brand ambassador and second in charge, upholds company standards, oversees cost centers and creates a memorable experience for guests and team members. It is open to candidates available nights, weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Restaurant Managing Partner for seamless daily operations
• Uphold company standards and act as a brand ambassador
• Oversee cost centers
• Create an exceptional experience for guests and team members
• Act as a culture champion for the team and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• At least 21 years of age
• 2 years of management experience
• Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and leadership skills, able to motivate and develop a passionate team
• Strong P&L knowledge
• Able to obtain required certifications and permits as required by state and local law
• Preferred: knowledge of local and state health codes, experience managing a team

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
• Preferred: Workday, Aloha, NBO and hot schedules
