About the role
The Residential Experience Coordinator is a full‑time staff member responsible for overseeing the safety, well‑being, and residential experience of high‑school students living on campus. The position works closely with a Residential Mentor to support a floor of 30‑40 students in grades 10‑12.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day supervision and ensure a safe living environment for resident students.
- Collaborate with the Residential Mentor to address student needs and resolve conflicts.
- Manage residential operations, including room assignments, policies, and emergency procedures.
- Facilitate community‑building activities and support students’ academic and personal development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident life.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in student affairs, higher education, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- At least one year of leadership experience in student affairs or residential life.
- Demonstrated knowledge of residential functions and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Personal attributes such as creativity, flexibility, organizational ability, and team‑building skills.
