Resident Services Coordinator – Affordable Housing

About the role

The Resident Services Coordinator will ensure strict compliance with state and local affordable‑housing regulations for a stabilized community of 355 units. Working closely with the Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager, you will support reporting, audits, and certification processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review, monitor, and ensure property compliance with all Affordable Housing program reporting and regulations.
• Prepare and distribute compliance reports to local governmental agencies.
• Conduct property file audits, identify findings, correct non‑compliance, and communicate resolutions.
• Review weekly occupancy and recertification reports for accuracy.
• Monitor income limits and utility allowances; assist with income and asset verifications, rent calculations, and household certifications.
• Stay current on regulatory changes from agencies such as TCAC and HUD and disseminate updates.
• Coordinate with HUD, PHAs, state housing finance agencies, and other regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of Resident Services Coordinator experience, preferably in affordable housing.
• Experience with leasing, capstone processes, and compliance reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with managers and external agencies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Onesite software.
• Proficiency with ILM (Income and Lease Management) system.
