Resident Engineer

About the role

The Resident Engineer acts as the primary technical liaison between the customer and AEES/PKC Group’s support teams. You will ensure that technical information gaps are closed, deliverables are on schedule, and customer satisfaction is maintained through effective communication and problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, coordinating with internal support personnel.
• Address financial, delivery, quality, and purchasing inquiries that impact the customer.
• Represent AEES/PKC in quality meetings at the customer site.
• Participate in regular meetings with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to review program status and performance.
• Support sales negotiations, target setting, and final pricing to meet business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• At least five years of account or project management experience.
• Minimum five years of people‑leadership experience.
• Preferred eight years of electrical distribution and automotive EDS experience.
• Prior experience with key OEM or Tier‑1 customers is a plus.

Required skills

• Print and schematic knowledge.
• Desktop publishing and print generation.
• Familiarity with EDS engineering, CAD, and print management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Project management and design change control.
• Systems knowledge.
