Research Coordinator II – Rheumatology

About the role

The Research Coordinator II supports Rheumatology clinical trials at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. You will enroll patients, conduct study visits, and manage study documentation across the full research lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate compliant implementation of human subject research projects, including IRB submissions and regulatory binder maintenance.
• Manage 10–15 prospective clinical studies, overseeing feasibility, start‑up, enrollment, monitoring, and close‑out activities.
• Communicate with sponsors, monitors, investigators, and research personnel to ensure protocol compliance and safety reporting.
• Schedule site visits, webinars, monitoring and close‑out meetings, and maintain study status reports.
• Assist with audit preparation, data capture, and adverse event reporting.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED with three years of Research Coordinator I experience, OR an Associate/Bachelor’s degree in a health‑care or science field with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage full‑cycle studies, and meet enrollment goals.
• Experience with investigational devices or operating‑room environments is preferred.

• Experience using database or data‑management tools.
