About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Research Associate I to join the COM | MBIM Stumhofer Lab. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports ongoing biomedical research projects and contributes to the university’s mission of advancing health care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of laboratory experiments.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures and results.
• Prepare reagents, samples, and equipment for daily research activities.
• Collaborate with senior scientists and graduate students to ensure project milestones are met.
• Follow safety and compliance protocols in a regulated research environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, biomedical engineering).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
