Research Assistant

About the role

The Research Assistant will support human subject research projects within the DDSI Clinical Research Unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. This full‑time position works days from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with the possibility of one remote day after the initial 90‑day period.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the research team with study‑related tasks and protocol activities.
• Obtain and maintain clinical competencies such as phlebotomy, vital signs, ECG, and point‑of‑care testing.
• Develop and coordinate research subject schedules in compliance with protocols.
• Collect, record, and maintain study records and documentation.
• Maintain study personnel certification records and filing systems.
• Order and stock supplies and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of basic study design concepts.
• Ability to work stationary for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Phlebotomy, vital signs measurement, ECG, point‑of‑care testing.
• Proficiency with Word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software.
