About the role
Georgetown University School of Medicine is seeking a full‑time Research Assistant I to join Dr. Kyle DiVito’s laboratory. The role focuses on advanced tissue‑engineering studies of the immunosecretome in endothelial cells exposed to non‑infectious viral proteins.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct independent laboratory experiments, primarily cell‑culture based.
- Collect, analyze, and present data at weekly lab meetings.
- Assist in training undergraduate internship students each semester.
- Potential weekend work to meet experimental timelines.
Required profile
- MS degree in Biotechnology or a closely related field.
- At least one year of hands‑on laboratory experience.
- Demonstrated experience with mammalian cell and tissue culture.
