About the role
The Christian Post is looking for a dynamic, professional journalist to join its Dallas newsroom. You will report daily on news that impacts the Christian community, writing for the publication’s online platform that covers national and international stories.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor news, generate story ideas and write news, feature, and in‑depth articles.
- Conduct interviews in‑person and remotely, and develop a network of newsmakers and sources.
- Cover national events both on‑site and remotely, adhering to AP style and deadlines.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of full‑time experience in digital news or magazine writing (excluding college newspapers).
- Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising reporting standards.
- Agreement with The Christian Post’s statement of faith and willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Dallas.
Required skills
- Proficiency with AP style.
