Rental Fleet Clerk - Full Time

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring a full-time Rental Fleet Clerk at its George Bush International Airport location. The role provides clerical and administrative support to rental fleet operations, helping keep vehicles available for customers. It suits people with experience in clerical, automotive, warehouse or operations environments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the entry and exit of vehicles in the fleet and support the movement of vehicles between locations
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle status and documentation
• May maintain records for vehicle registrations, license plates, stickers and keys
• Process invoices, answer phones and communicate with internal teams and external partners

Required profile

• Valid driver's license
• Effective verbal and written communication and strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Willingness to work outdoors occasionally or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Must be able to sit, type, talk, hear, move around the location and drive various vehicles as needed
• Must be 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Regular on-site presence required; the position cannot be done remotely
• 6 months of office clerical experience or familiarity with automotive parts and tools is a bonus

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)
