Remote Systems Administrator

About the role

FlexTecs is seeking a full‑time remote Systems Administrator to maintain, configure, and optimize its computer systems, servers, and networks. You will ensure smooth, secure operations while supporting users across a global financial compliance platform.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and optimize servers and operating systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Monitor system security and network performance to ensure reliability.
• Coordinate software installations, manage system updates, and apply patches.
• Document processes and adhere to best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Proficiency in system administration, including server and OS management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience delivering technical support with clear communication.
• Knowledge of network administration (firewalls, routers, switches).
• Understanding of IT protocols, security practices, and information systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
