Senior Information Security Analyst (SecOps)

About the role

The Senior Information Security Analyst (SecOps) will protect DLA Piper’s global infrastructure by detecting, investigating, and mitigating internal and external threats. You will work closely with IT, security vendors, and a team of analysts to keep the firm’s security posture proactive and robust.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and guide a team of Information Security Analysts.
• Evaluate and improve information security program functions.
• Review SIEM systems, generate metrics, and track investigation tickets.
• Perform alert triage, root‑cause analysis, and mitigation planning.
• Maintain endpoint detection (EDR, antivirus) and asset management.
• Manage Next‑Generation Firewalls and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Conduct threat hunting and leverage threat intelligence.
• Utilize malware sandbox technologies and interpret results.
• Oversee incident response tools, processes, and capabilities.
• Drive vulnerability and configuration management initiatives.
• Lead independent security projects and provide performance feedback.

Required profile

• Extensive technical expertise in Security Operations (SecOps).
• Proven leadership and mentorship experience.
• Strong understanding of threats, attacks, and malware.
• Ability to collaborate with IT and manage security vendor relationships.
