Remote Medical Case Reviewer – Injury & Vaccine Compensation Programs

About the role

PsyPhyCare is seeking experienced medical professionals to review vaccine- and countermeasure-related injury claims for a federal healthcare compensation program. This remote, contract-based role offers competitive hourly compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical case files, including petitions, records, affidavits, and supporting documentation.
• Assess information adequacy and evaluate causation likelihood using medical principles and literature.
• Prepare written reports and recommendations for legal and administrative teams.
• Consult with medical experts, team leads, and attorneys as needed.
• Participate in case presentations, consensus discussions, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license and at least 5 years of clinical or case review experience.
• Alternatively, PhD or advanced clinical degree (e.g., NP, PA, RN) with at least 3 years of medical case review experience.
• Strong analytical and writing abilities; proficiency in medical research and literature analysis.
