Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Reliability Engineer provides engineering support to the Maintenance and Operations teams, ensuring that plant infrastructure, processes, and equipment meet production requirements. The role covers a range of programs including mechanical integrity, rotating equipment, vibration analysis, chiller reliability, and cooling‑tower treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage programs that improve reliability of plant assets and enforce engineering standards.
• Collect and analyze maintenance data to determine failure rates, modes, and predict future failures.
• Design and quantify reliability improvement projects, calculate payback, and drive cost reductions.
• Investigate major equipment failures, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain master equipment data, preventive‑maintenance records, and support capital‑project reviews.
• Perform financial analysis of repairs and programs to support budgeting.
• Collaborate with operational customers to ensure satisfaction of reliability objectives.

Required profile

• B.S. in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, influencing, and time‑management skills.
• Experience leading cross‑functional project teams.
