Relationship Banker – Branch Sales & Service

About the role

The Relationship Banker serves as a trusted advisor to customers in the downtown Worcester branch, building long‑lasting relationships and delivering tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting and cross‑selling banking products and services.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand financial needs and provide customized solutions.
• Prospect new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, and community engagement.
• Deliver an elevated, personalized customer experience across in‑person, phone, and digital channels.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk‑management policies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and support nearby locations as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience selling products in an incentive‑based environment, or 12+ months in retail banking sales with proven results.
• Strong customer‑service background in a high‑volume, fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent communication, consultative, and influence skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital banking tools and technology.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
• Basic math and numerical skills.
