Regulatory Reporting Accountant (Hybrid, Pasadena)

About the role

We are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our growing finance team in Pasadena. This hybrid position supports key broker-dealer regulatory reporting and accounting functions, offering up to $84K compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Customer/PAB Reserve Computations (15c3-3).
• Prepare Net Capital (15c3-1) and FOCUS reports.
• Support daily and monthly regulatory reporting schedules.
• Assist with audits and regulatory examinations.
• Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and general broker-dealer accounting activities.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure regulatory and financial reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of financial services experience preferred.
• Exposure to broker-dealer regulatory reporting environments.
• FINRA SIE & Series 99 licenses, or willingness to obtain them.
• Strong attention to detail and Excel proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with Broadridge Processing System (BPS) – a plus.
