About the role
Tarleton State University seeks a Registrar Services Specialist II to provide administrative and operational support in the Office of the Registrar, ensuring accurate student records and smooth graduation processes.
Key responsibilities
- Review graduation documents, degree plans, and exceptions; track and resolve complex issues.
- Provide training to internal staff, advisors, department heads, and deans.
- Maintain the university graduation website and coordinate commencement logistics.
- Supervise graduation student workers and serve as point of contact for the diploma vendor.
- Manage tuition rebate forms, oversee ceremony supplies, and generate reports for commencement photography.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of progressively responsible experience with business information systems, records, and customer service.
Required skills
- Proficiency with word processing applications.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet applications.
- Experience using database applications.
