Instructor – Supply Chain Management

About the role

Tarleton State University seeks a 9‑month, non‑tenure‑track Instructor to teach undergraduate Supply Chain Management courses within the Department of Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, and Information Systems. The position supports the growth of the Supply Chain Management program and delivers career‑focused learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver undergraduate courses in areas such as Purchasing, Logistics, Operations, and Supply Chain Analytics.
• Develop syllabi, select instructional materials, design assessments, and provide timely feedback to students.
• Engage students through active learning, critical thinking activities, and hands‑on projects.
• Participate in curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve on college committees, mentor students, and foster industry partnerships.

Required profile

• Earned Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field from an AACSB‑accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, or related industry roles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and operations.
• Ability to translate supply chain concepts and analytics into effective classroom instruction.
• Proficiency in developing course materials and assessments.
