Registered Nurse – Trauma ICU

About the role

Join the day‑shift, full‑time Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team in Tyler, TX as a Registered Nurse. You will deliver high‑quality, compassionate care to critically injured patients in a Level 1 trauma center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitoring in the Trauma ICU.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary staff, and support services to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and emergency response activities.

Required profile

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
