Registered Nurse – Substance Abuse Treatment (Part‑time)

About the role

Turning Point of Tampa is seeking a compassionate Nurse to join our 12‑Step‑based substance‑abuse, eating‑disorder, and dual‑diagnosis programs. This part‑time position works overnight weekends, providing direct medical care to clients as they begin their recovery journey.

Key responsibilities

• Administer medications, take vital signs, and conduct clinical assessments for clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Monitor client progress, modify treatment interventions as needed, and document all care accurately.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive, patient‑focused environment.

Required profile

• Current Practical Nurse (PN) licensure in the state of Florida.
• 0–1 year of experience in addiction treatment or a related field (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Turning Point of Tampa.
