Registered Nurse – Specialty Infusion Center

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join the Lennar Foundation Medical Center’s Multispecialty Clinics. The RN will provide patient‑family centered care in an infusion‑center setting, ensuring safety, quality, and cultural competence.

Key responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and modify treatment plans based on responses and physician orders.
• Review and report diagnostic test results, consult with physicians and allied health professionals, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely, maintain accurate medication records, and operate medical equipment.
• Communicate care plans to patients, families, and the care team while complying with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Support discharge planning, transition of care, and serve as a preceptor for new staff.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a valid Florida RN license.
• BSN required and a minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.
• At least two years of experience working in an infusion center.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods, and health‑safety guidelines.
