Registered Nurse (RN) Weekender – LDRP

About the role

Join the 16‑bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit at Atrium Health Union as a part‑time Weekend RN. You will work two 12‑hour shifts each weekend (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) providing comprehensive, family‑centered care from admission through postpartum recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate triage, labor management, delivery, and recovery activities.
• Delegate tasks to appropriate team members while ensuring compliance with policies.
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Promote a safe, culturally inclusive environment and adhere to ethical standards.

Required profile

• Current RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity weekend setting.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous quality improvement.
