Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre‑Op/PACU – PRN

About the role

The Iredell Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide pre‑operative and post‑anesthesia care (PACU) on an as‑needed (PRN) basis. The RN will deliver high‑quality nursing care, coordinate patient assessments, and ensure safe recovery for surgical patients in our Mooresville facility.

Key responsibilities

• Prescribe and coordinate nursing care throughout the pre‑operative and PACU phases.
• Delegate nursing activities and supervise support staff as required.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the center’s standards and mission.
• Maintain full access to patient health information and ensure confidentiality.
• Utilize practice computer systems and equipment to document care accurately.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Successful completion of hospital and unit‑specific orientation.
• At least three years of related nursing experience, preferably in a medical office or surgical setting.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑resolution, and communication abilities.
