Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU – Day Shift

About the role
Join UT Health Tyler as a full‑time, day‑shift Registered Nurse in our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will provide compassionate, evidence‑based care to critically ill newborns and support their families.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process for a designated group of NICU patients.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform assessments in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Current Texas RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
- Ability to work full‑time day shifts in an acute care environment.
