About the role
Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a part‑time Registered Nurse for the Med‑Surg inpatient unit in Hellertown. The position works night shifts, providing comprehensive nursing care to designated patients.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
- Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
- Participate in performance improvement processes and evidence‑based practice projects.
- Teach and mentor new colleagues and interns, and delegate tasks based on team skills.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Pennsylvania RN license (or obtain upon hire).
- Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain clinical competency.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Basic computer skills.
