About the role

Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a part‑time night RN in the Emergency Department at Gilbertsville Hospital. Provide professional nursing care, assess and manage patient needs, and enjoy a $6,000 sign‑on bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated emergency patients.
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
• Participate in performance improvement processes and evidence‑based practice projects.
• Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• Ability to organize, prioritize assignments and maintain unit‑specific competencies.
• Physical ability to lift/carry 40‑50 lb and stand/walk for long periods.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Basic computer skills.
