About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care Respiratory unit in UTower. The RN will provide coordinated, high‑quality patient care and education within an interdisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate, and deliver patient care following nursing standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching on respiratory and post‑acute care.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN graduates must complete BSN within 2 years).
- Valid Florida Registered Nurse license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum one year of medical‑surgical nursing experience.
