About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care unit. This full‑time position provides patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent, evidence‑based environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver patient‑family centered care using evidence‑based standards of quality, safety, and service.
- Oversee nurses and allied health staff in daily practice.
- Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate and deliver patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching.
Required profile
- BSN graduate from an accredited nursing school.
- Current State of Florida RN license.
- At least one year of medical‑surgical experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
