Registered Nurse – Post Surgical Med‑Surg (Day Shift)

About the role
Join UT Health Tyler as a full‑time, day‑shift Registered Nurse specializing in post‑surgical medical‑surgical care. You will work in a high‑acuity hospital environment serving patients in Tyler, Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate patient care for a designated group of post‑surgical patients using the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions throughout each shift.
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
Required profile
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.
- Current Texas RN license in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
