Registered Nurse – Northwest Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinics

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Northwest Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinics team. The RN will provide direct patient care in an orthopedic outpatient setting across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for orthopedic patients.
• Coordinate and deliver pre‑ and post‑operative care, including wound management and pain control.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and recovery expectations.

Required profile

• Current Arkansas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
