Registered Nurse – Neuro Intensive Care (Full‑time)

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) at UHealth Hospital. In this full‑time, onsite position you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care to critically ill neuro patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document neuro‑critical patients' conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to protocols.
• Coordinate care plans with physicians, therapists, and support staff.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, procedures, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with nursing standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN graduates must complete BSN within 2 years).
• Valid Florida Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum two years of critical‑care nursing experience, preferably in a neuro ICU setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
