About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join the Medical Intensive Care unit at UHealth’s UTower. The Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and educate patients and families.
Key responsibilities
- Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate and deliver patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Guide and conduct patient and family teaching.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to nursing standards and processes.
Required profile
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN hires have 2 years to complete BSN).
- Valid Florida Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum two years of critical‑care nursing experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
