About the role
Join UT Health Athens as a full‑time, day‑shift Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in a 127‑bed acute care hospital. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process for a designated group of patients.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical‑surgical patients throughout your shift.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
Required profile
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.
- Current Texas RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
Required skills
- Texas RN licensure.
- BLS certification.
