Professional Lab Assistant EMT/AEMT

About the role

Join Athens Technical College as a Professional Lab Assistant supporting emergency medical training. You will work directly with faculty to ensure smooth classroom operations and provide hands‑on assistance to students in a lab environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist faculty with classroom instruction, exams, record keeping, safety procedures, and attendance tracking.
• Tutor or mentor students in emergency medical techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory space.
• Procure textbooks, equipment, and other materials required for classes.

Required profile

• Current licensure in Georgia as an AEMT, Paramedic, RN, PA, or MD/DO.
• Minimum one year of experience in advanced life support pre‑hospital or emergency care.
• Preferred: Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS, plus PHTLS and EMS Instructor qualifications.
