Registered Nurse – Long‑Term Care

About the role

Lifespace is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its clinical team on the night shift (6 PM – 6 AM) at a senior living community in Tyler, Texas. You will provide direct nursing care to residents, ensure accurate documentation, and support a compassionate, purpose‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing services to all residents in the assigned neighborhood or program.
• Oversee physician orders, transcribe them accurately into the electronic health record, and administer medications and treatments.
• Supervise and mentor clinical and non‑clinical team members, including new hires.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring seamless communication with pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments.
• Document resident conditions, nursing needs, and observations promptly and accurately.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse license and any state‑required certifications.
• One year of nursing experience in a long‑term care or senior living setting (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
